Tek has pursued an aggressive IP strategy by seeking U.S. and International
patent protection for all aspects of the BTST technologies through
filing of multiple patent applications. From its inception, Byz
Tek has been very aggressive in protecting its intellectual property,
especially considering that its technologies are Byz Tek’s
key assets. To date, Byz Tek has devoted very significant funds
to obtaining the best possible patent protection for the BTST technologies,
and to seek the broadest scope of patent protection that is possible
in light of the extensive prior art searches conducted by Byz Tek
prior to patent filings. In addition, Byz Tek’s primary patent
application has been filed under a special accelerated examination
program, based on Byz Tek’s significant research in the field
of currently available fraud prevention technologies that has been
presented to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
